Martha Geraldine Baker Oljey, 62, formerly of Lynn, died in Columbia, Tenn. on Sunday Dec 26, 2004. Martha formerly worked in CADIS production.
Daughter of Alexander A. Baker and Mary H. (Perry)
Baker. She was employed at NYNEX and Lynn Hospital. She leaves 2
sons, Richard F. Oljey, Jr. of Lowell and Michael B. Oljey of
Pulaski, Tenn.; 3 sisters, Viola M. Reed of Virginia Beach, Sr.
Martha Marie, C.S.J. of Framingham and Maureen S. Faulkner of
Lynn; a brother, Roland L. Baker of Westborough; two step-grandaughters;
a step-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was the
sister of the late Ruth E. Cipoletti.

Martina C. “Tina” (McGaughey) Sawyer, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn, died Friday at Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital after a brief illness. She is the wife of the late Herbert W. Sawyer. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she is the daughter of the late Jerome A. and Elizabeth A. (Toole) McGaughey. She was raised in Lynn and attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and Lynn Classical High School. She lived in Lynn for 34 years and has lived in Peabody for the past 48 years. She worked for General Electric during World War II, then she worked for Analogic from 1960-1970. Finally, she worked for Honeywell until her retirement in 1980. An avid bingo player, she loved going to Foxwoods. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and traveling. She is survived by 2 sons; Thomas Sawyer of Peabody, Herbert G. Sawyer and his wife Diane of Peabody, 1 daughter; Elizabeth Sawyer of Peabody (formerly worked in CSD and in Field Sales), 4 grandchildren, Christopher and James Sawyer of Peabody and Margaret and Sarah Munoz of Florida; 1 brother, Thomas McGaughey of Lynn, and 2 sisters, Josephine Albanese of Saugus and Frances Kehoe of Lynnfield. She is the grandmother of the late Michael Sawyer. He was an avid participant in the stock market and
was proud of his accomplishments in that arena over the years. He enjoyed
sailing and for several years owned his own sailboat the “Clear-Ray” which
he sailed out of Hingham and Fall River. He also enjoyed fine automobiles
and had at one time participated in the sport of car racing. Burial will
follow the Funeral Mass in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.

Mrs. Evelyn (DeMarco) (Gemma) Anderson, 90, of Lynn, died Wednesday, Nov.3, 2004 in a local nursing home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Rocco Gemma and William Anderson.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Michael
and Rose DeMarco. Mrs. Anderson leaves three daughters, Maryann Dogiel
of Lynn, Lorraine Johnson of Citrus Springs, Fla. and

(worked in CSD) of Las Vegas, Nev; four stepchildren, William Anderson
of Oklahoma, Carol Burnell of Saugus, Ellen Ellsworth of
New Hampshire and Bruce Anderson of Lynn; two sisters,

and Vera Snell of Las Vegas, Nev; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Rose Marie Morello and Caroline Shelton and sister of the late Al DeMarco and Agnes Deltofo. Christes A. “Chris” Pujo, age 85,
of Lynn, died Tuesday at Union Hospital after a lengthy illness. He is the
husband of Mary C. (Hegner) Pujo, with whom he shared 56 years of
marriage. Born in Albania, he is the son of the late Anastos and Alexandra
(Rusha) Pujo. Mr. Pujo moved to Lynn at the age of 9. He was educated in
Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. He worked
as a carpenter at the Boston Naval Shipyard for many years, until it was
closed; he then worked for many years for the Lynn School Department as a
custodian. He loved dancing and was known as the “King of the Waltz”,
loved playing the stock market, swimming, and was a member of St. George
Cathedral, Boston.

Yvonne Anderson's Mother, Mary Eva Masseau died peacefully on Saturday evening. She was born 09/09/09 and passed away on 09/05/04.She was the wife of Robert H.Masseau who predeceased her 38 years ago and the Mother of Robert M.Masseau, who passed away in 2000.
Mary Eva graduated from
Nazareth College in Rochester NY in 1932 with a BS and from Montclair
State University with a Masters in Education in 1966. She was a retired
Director of Guidance at Mount St. Dominic's Academy in Caldwell NJ.
She is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Roberta Greenawalt and her husband Bill of Slingerlands
NY,
Mrs.Yvonne Anderson and her husband George
of
Topsfield, Ma, and two sons, Mr. Harvey J. Masseau of Hackettstown, NJ,
and Mr. Michael G. Masseau of Ogden, NY. She is also survived by 14
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Infantry in the Canadian Army during World War II. Worked as a

cousins.

We just learned that Larry Lalonde passed away on Tuesday June 15, 2004. Larry was a former Sales Manager for the RI and Boston North regions.

Michael Church, 196 Main St. No. Andover, MA
Friday, June 18, 2004 at
1:00 PM
Directions to St. Michael Church: Take Route 495 to exit 43 Massachusetts Avenue. At the end of exit ramp head towards North Andover. (Could be a left or right depending on your direction from Route 495.) Follow Massachusetts Avenue to the first set of lights. Take a sharp left at the lights onto Waverly Road. Follow Waverly Road to the very end. You will pass Thompson School, a variety store and a sub shop. At the end of Waverly take a right onto Main Street. You will pass a fire station on the left. St. Michael Church is the pink Church located at 196 Main Street on the left side of the street.
Following the service there will be a reception at Mark
Lalonde's home at 35 E Stonybrook Rd Westford, MA.

Whether he was improving his spacious Beverly home, or hosting July cookouts for the past 15 years for the Directory Alumni, Larry Nichols, a retired YP Salesman, was know for his generous nature.
Larry Nichols died June 6, 2004 and will be sorely missed
by his former co-workers and the membership of the Directory Alumni
Council.
Funeral arrangements:
A wake will be held at the Lee Moody & Russell Funeral Home
at 9 Dane St, Beverly, MA on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 from 4:00 -
6:00 PM. Following the wake a gathering of Larry's friends will
be held at Larry's home at 600 Essex Street, Beverly, MA. The family
requests No Flowers please.
Directions to the funeral home can be obtained by calling
the Lee Moody & Russell Funeral Home at 978 922-0153.
Directions to Larry's home: RTE 128 to Exit 18. At end of
the ramp, turn LEFT onto RTE 22 toward Essex. Stay on RTE 22 (Essex St.)
for 1 1/2 miles. House is on the left -- look for #600 painted on rock.
